The Examination
The Residential Contractors Exam is given in three parts.
| Part 1 - Business and Finance |
| Part 2 - Contract Administration |
| Part 3 - Project Management |
Part 1 of the Exam is 6½ hours and is now administered as a computer based test.
This exam is usually available on a daily basis.
Parts 2 & 3 of the Exam are 4½ hours each and are currently being given every two months.

These are all open-book exams based on the state provided list of reference books.

Classroom Exam Preparation
Step #1 - Attend Our MANDATORY Start-Up Class
Without it, you'll be starting on the wrong foot.
This class covers tabbing and highlighting your books, math guidance, and exam strategies that teach you how to study and how to pass the exam. This is a must-do class that will provide you with all of the insight and tools you need to make this venture a success.
Step #2 - Complete Course Manual(s)
You will be given the course manual(s) with practice questions covering all of your reference books in depth, as well as practice exams. All sections have detailed answer sheets which provide the correct answers, the reference page numbers, and math solutions.
You must complete the course manual(s) prior to attending any further classes.
Step #3 - Attend Scheduled Classes
These instructor-led classes include practice exams and reviews.
Step #4 - Online Practice Exam
This course also includes free access to one online practice exam of your choice.
GUARANTEE - Tuition is good for two class cycles

Practice Test & Review
For the exam candidate that simply wants a last minute refresh and review just before taking the exam.
Each class takes place over a single day and is offered in Orlando, Florida.
It includes a practice exam and a review period with our instructor available
to answer any questions you may have.
Cost of the Business & Finance Practice Test & Review Class is $150
Cost of the Trade Knowledge Practice Test & Review Class is $150

Practice Test & Review Schedule
Home Study
The home study is for the self-motivated individuals
who cannot attend classes or prefer to study at home.
This program will expose you to all aspects of the state licensing exam
and is updated on a regular basis.
The home study includes:
Workbooks with questions to familiarize you with the reference books.
Practice exams at the end of the workbooks.
Detailed answer pages which include the correct answers,
reference pages, and math solutions, if applicable.
Cost of the Business & Finance Home Study is $300
